Grescha Brewer - Co-CEO

Grescha has been a nurse in aged care for over 25 years and in a management role for the past 15 years. She’s operated low care, high care, and dementia-specific nursing homes.

Additionally, she is a qualified naturopath, nutritionist, and remedial massage therapist. Grescha loves making a difference in the lives of those who feel vulnerable in their ageing process. She firmly believes life should be even more enjoyable as you age and has countless stories to prove it.

Jo Dwyer - Co-CEO

Jo has 20 years experience working in aged care and caring for people with dementia and she’s passionate about creating an environment where people feel at home. She knows it has such a positive affect on their health and well-being.

Jo grew up in the New Forest, in rural England, and she completed her registered nurse training at the famous St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London before travelling the world as a nurse. More recently she studied dementia care at the University of Tasmania.

Doug Bryers - Chief Operations Officer

Doug Bryers is an experienced and adaptable business leader with over 25 years of success in launching new products, growing operations, and driving business growth across various industries and global markets. He specialises in strategic planning, execution, and go-to-market strategies, particularly for early-stage and fast-growing companies. His background includes work with Fortune 500 firms, non-profits, and startups, giving him a balanced mix of corporate and entrepreneurial experience.

At Honey Bee Homes, Doug supports the co-founders by leading strategic and marketing plans, driving business growth, securing investment, and helping scale the company’s intellectual property to transform aged care.

Originally from New Zealand, Doug spent over 25 years in the U.S. before returning to Australia in 2022. He now lives in Byron Bay.

Jason Dwyer - Property Acquisition Manager

Jason Dwyer brings a lifelong passion for property, real estate investment, and property management to his role as Property Acquisition Manager at Honey Bee Homes. Raised on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and actively involved in his family’s successful construction business, Dwyer Quality Homes, Jason gained extensive hands-on experience in property development and investment from an early age - expertise he now applies to the Byron Bay region.

With a strong understanding of the property market and a proven track record in managing investor consortiums across a diverse range of commercial property projects, Jason has helped both first-time and seasoned investors secure cash flow–positive assets with solid long-term capital growth potential.

Supported by a professional background in finance, property, and marketing, Jason brings a strategic, well-rounded approach to property acquisition—helping clients maximise returns while effectively managing risk.
